A big year for us this year as our first born enters Kindergarten! So happy for him in the new path he will be taking. I think the challenges really begin here for us as parents. It is ever so important to be involved and have a great relationship with your child. I am nervous, but excited to take the challenge and grow with him.
What an amazing little boy. He has big shoes to fill, but so far, I think he has way surpassed that. I can see the joy he is in his “Keenan’s” eyes. I was so honored to photograph little Chatham or “Junior” for his two year pics. He was so alert and every time he stopped from his merry little way, he would look at me, stand real still and say “cheese”. Melts my heart, since I have a two year old too and it makes me tear up to think how fast time flies.
At such a tiny age, this little girl was very curious about her surroundings for the beginning of our session. I met them at their home and we went from room to room looking for the best light. There were so many unique props for us to use. We even hopped in my van and headed to a little “forest” area at the beginning of their neighborhood. I can not believe how beautiful these girls are too, such a blessing and such wonderful personalities!
What a pleasure it was to see my friend, Emily, from high school and meet her entire family. Litte A was the hit of the place, everyone just oooohhed and awwwww’d at the site of his sweet little face. I think he had fun trying on different hats and crawling around on the ground. I noticed her brother would pick up his book and read when he was not in the shot, walk and read, sit and read. I only hope my boys love reading so much that they take a good book with them wherever they go.
Finally, I have started my new blogsite. I feel like I have accomplished so much, this has been on my list since last December. Birthday party contest is coming up next, so check my blog frequently so you don’t miss out on this great contest.
Lazy Sunday Contest winner will be announced in 1 hour!!!
These last days of summer before school starts, I decided to take my boys to the trains, their favorite place to be these days. You can tell by the images, they were not really wanting the camera there, but we had fun!
